Angel Tree at The Grove

This year, Oak Grove will share Christ’s love by serving 24 foster children in the United Methodist Family Services system, here in our area. Each child will receive 3 wrapped gifts. One gift will be a “fun” gift, one a “clothing” gift and one “spiritual” gift. Each gift will be a $30 max. value.

The Angel Tree will be up in the Atrium area, for you to select an angel either on Dec 1st or 8th. There will be gift suggestions and sizes for each child. Please return your wrapped gift to Oak Grove on Sunday Dec 15th during worship times.

Thank you for supporting this wonderful organization.

Oak Grove UMC’s Angel Tree Ministry helps support the UMFS by providing Christmas gifts for children and youth in foster care.

The first Sunday in December the Angel Tree with Angel Tree tags will be placed in the Atrium which is located in the education building.

OGUMC typically supports at least twenty-five children and youth.

Each child or youth receives three gifts: a clothing gift, a fun gift, and a spiritual gift. That’s seventy-five gifts!

Wrapped gifts are delivered to the UMFS office on Baker Road prior to Christmas.

How to Participate:

  • Choosing an Angel Tree tag from the Angel Tree and purchasing a gift.

  • Volunteering to decorate the Angel Tree.

  • Volunteering to assist the congregation before, and after both services with choosing an Angel Tree tag and registering the tag by filling out a tracking form.
