Drop-Off & Pickup Procedures

Schedule your drop-off appointment by logging into your seller’s account and selecting a check-in slot.

Drop-Off Guidelines​

  • Tagging: Ensure all items are tagged according to the Tagging Instructions prior to drop-off.

  • Organize: Group items by gender and size. Use rubber bands or ribbons to keep sizes together for easier placement on racks.

  • Specialty Items: Separate specialty items (e.g., holiday dresses, coats, swimwear) from gender/size groups.

  • Toys: Verify that toys have working batteries and switch them to the "off" position to prevent battery drainage.

Drop-Off Location​

  • Entrance: Enter through the back of the church under the portico. You may temporarily park under the portico to unload your car.

  • Assistance: Volunteers will assist with heavy or large items.

  • Punctuality: Please arrive on time for your scheduled appointment. If you are unable to make your scheduled time, contact us at consignmentsale@oakgroveumc.org.

Check-In Process​

  1. Come inside and check in at the consignor table.

  2. Sign a hard copy of the Consignor Agreement and initial the list of items you are dropping off.

  3. A volunteer will help bring your items in and check them for compliance with our Selling Guidelines.

  4. You are responsible for placing your items on the sale floor in the appropriate sections. Volunteers will assist with heavy or large items and guide you through the process.

 

Pick Up​

  • Pick-Up Day: There is only ONE pick-up day – Saturday, March 22nd, from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM.

  • Arrival Time: Please do not arrive before the scheduled pick-up time, as we will not be ready to check you out before then.

  • Pre-Sorting: We will do our best to pre-sort items to make pick-up easier. However, if sorting is not complete, you may be asked to help locate your items on the sale floor.

  • Check-Out: Each consignor must check out with a volunteer before leaving to ensure no other consignor’s items were collected unintentionally.​

Important:​

  • Donations: All items left after the pick-up time will be donated to charity.

  • Unsold Items Report: An unsold items report will be available after the registers close.

  • Items marked as "donate" will NOT appear on your unsold items report.
